Linglestown Legacy Collection
The Story Behind the Collection

The Linglestown Legacy Collection is more than a collection of hometown keepsakes-it's a tribute to my grandparents, H. S. "Pete" Koons and Annie Grace (Deibler) Koons, and to the community they loved.
Many years ago, my grandparents generously donated the land that became Koons Memorial Park. Before making that gift, my grandfather sat down with my grandmother and their daughters, Rena Koons (my mother) and Nancy Koons (my aunt), to talk about what they hoped the land could become. Together, they envisioned a place where families could gather, children could play, and neighbors could create memories for generations to come.
The blueprint featured on the gift tag is the original plan for Koons Memorial Park - a lasting reminder that one family's generosity can shape a community for generations.
Creating the Linglestown Legacy Collection is my way of honoring their vision and carrying forward the enduring spirit of family, community, and hometown pride.
My hope is that these keepsakes inspire others to cherish the places, the memories, and the people that make every hometown so special.
